Here we study the possibilities for extending the chart of nuclei into these new domains
by following our knowledge of normal
nuclei. We use the Relativistic Mean
Field-(RMF-)model
which has been applied successfully
in numerous applications to normal nuclei. It consists of an effective Meson-Baryon Lagrangean
with scalar (
) and vector (
) fields.
