The course is classified as a master seminar but is intended more generally for advanced undergraduate and graduate students of physics and astronomy with a basic knowledge of cosmology. The lectures will introduce the topics of advanced cosmology by working through the various facets of the cosmic microwave background radiation, a modern concept introduced in the textbooks:
