About the Mind Group

What we want to achieve


We are a group of young philosophers and scientists with a strong interest in questions concerning the mind, consciousness and cognition.


The group – initiated and coordinated by Thomas Metzinger – consists of young researchers from various disciplines such as philosophy, psychology, cognitive science and neuroscience.

This meeting took place in Zürich from March 21st to 24th.

There were two lectures open to the public by Antoine Lutz and Tania Singer. The workshop and public lectures in Zurich were preceded by an introductory course in meditation for participating Mind Group members at a meditation center in Beatenberg from March 19th to 21st.
